Don't be put off by the other review .this is a great campground with many of the sites having a view of a nice creek , yep you need to boil water and the place only has pit toilets but, a pit toilet can't get blocked causing a massive line up of panicked fidgeting campers . It's draw backs are there's a lot of bugs that like to bite so bring the deet. Excellent trails at the end of the campsite

I recommend choosing sites number 30+. This is far from the highway so you'll barely hear the cars. Upside to these campsites is that you're next to the river and a 50min. trail. It's also closer to the forest so do follow the BARE campsite guide. We made a mistake of leaving a tissue box one night and it was totally wrecked by some animal.

(If you're used to these then it's not really an issue.)

Only facilities are pit toilets. Wouldn't mind but it's double the price of other BC provincial campgrounds that's have more facilities. Need to filter your own water too

    - There's little to no light pollution at night so you can really see the stars.

    - Fewer people especially at the mentioned campsite numbers above. It's very peaceful.
